Theatre Arts Minor Requirements

Required preparatory courses
TH 1101W Introduction to Theatre (4cr)
TH 1321 Beginning Acting: Fundamentals of Performance (3cr)
TH 1322 Creating the Performance (3cr)
Minor Requirements
Both of the following courses:
TH 1501 Introduction Design and Technology for Live Performance (3 cr)
TH 3571 Introduction to Stage Technology (3cr) (no lab)
and two of the following four courses:
TH 3171 Theatre History (3cr)
TH 3172 Theatre History (3cr)
TH 4177W Survey of Dramatic Literature I (3cr)
TH 4178W Survey of Dramatic Literature II (3cr)
Total credits: 24
Registration Recommendations
The following order is recommended for completion of the BA Theatre Arts minor.
First Year: 1101, 1321, 1322
Second Year: 1501, 3571, one course from Theatre History/Lit
Third Year: one course from Theatre History/Lit, electives (not required, but recommended)
Fourth Year: electives (not required, but recommended)
