BA Theatre Arts Program
The University of Minnesota’s BA program in Theatre Arts explores the process of theatrical creation through programs in performance, history/literature, and design/technology. Each program invites the student to develop independent, critical thought, articulated choices, and to explore the consequences of representation historically, in various cultural sites, and here and now in the Twin Cities. We particularly value the collaborator, attracted to combining critical and imaginative thought, and the study of theater with other arts, including the exploration of alternative performance paradigms.
