STAGE ELEMENTS Summer Theatre Institute
For current High School Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors
June 15–25, 2009
The STAGE ELEMENTS Summer Theatre Institute provides students with a unique introduction to the opportunities offered by the BA Theatre and BFA Actor Training Program at theUniversity of Minnesota. By day, students will engage in intensive workshops led primarily by Department of Theatre Arts & Dance faculty. In the evening, students will use their new skills in rehearsal work that will culminate in a performance of scene work. Students will train in several disciplines including acting, voice, movement/physical performance styles, puppetry and clowning.
